We all have mentors whose passing we mourn, and it seems we feel their 
loss in a way that is different to that which we feel about the loss of 
family or friends. The thing that caught my eye in your tribute was the 
fact that you were able to say both "thank you" and "goodbye."
 Rarely do many of us get those opportunities for closure. These may be 
his final gifts to you. Maybe death is often so sudden, poorly timed, or 
unexpected so that those of us who go on living are encouraged to 
*really* pay attention. Our condolences for your loss.    Bruce and
