[RC] Size of land for a ride - Michael Maul

In response to"I realize now from the learned insight that it would take a considerable piece of land to put on a fun and interesting ride. Let me ask you this.....would 2000+/- acres be enough to get anyones attention??"

Over New Years there was a nice 2 day 25/50 each day in the CT region on 1800 acres. I certainly enjoyed it and I'm sure most others did.

I suspect that would not work well in other parts of the country though where riders are used to 20,000 to 80,000 acre parks...

There was a 100 mile ride once at Quicksilver Park near San Jose though and the park is less than 4200 acres with 25 miles of equestrian trails which were done 4 times.
