AERC I working in the background has turned out to be one of the more 
effete operations I have ever had the pleasure or displeasure to 
witness. We see the fruits for their labor - from a 13:20 COC time (7.46 
mph) to a 10:40 COC time (9.32 mph) in the span of two years!

Their leadership in this issue is just amazing - I amazed how poorly it 
has performed. As the old Chicago song laments, "...America needs you, 
Harry Truman...." It seems our organizational leadership would rather 
embrace the status quo - even if it is flat out the wrong thing to do 
than to make a wave.
