Last time I looked it up the US Army tried very hard to give troops moved into drastically different climates two weeks to adjust. If I were to be writing the rules for a hot humid WEC I would insist on at least 2 weeks on site or a week on site if coming from another hot humid country.I don't think FEI thinks this way. On Endurance.net the article about planning for 2008 Olympics talked about transporting horses and the hot humid climate in Beijing. They were aiming for 10 days and mentioned something about "air conditioned" stalls. I would specify "ventilated" stalls, but not "air conditioned". Perhaps it is a mistranslation from some European language.
