Re: [RC] Question for on line vendors - KarenNo, it is not illegal. The reason for that policy is to protect the smaller vendors. Most of them understand that. Now consumers can buy direct at MSRP, or through a vendor that is local to them or on the internet and may be able to purchase items at a lower price. EasyCare was selling directly to customers long before there were vendors or dealers involved.EasyCare had three booths at the AERC convention, and the purpose of our being there was to demonstrate how to use our products. In addition, we also offered to do boot repairs free of charge. We did not sell anything, and referred customers to the several dealers at the show who most definitely did sell quite a bit of our product. EasyCare, Inc. 2300 E.
