Re: [RC] EZ ride strrups, deathtraps? - Marirose SixMel, I ride endurance now with a background of hunt/jump, polo, team penning & easy trail. I have always put weight in my stirrups. When I have tried EZ stirrups, I felt that my feet were trapped. I like to know that, if in a pickle I will easily lose the stirrup. I was not comfortable with that feeling at all. I've always ridden lots of green horses so maybe I have a bigger fear of not being 'detached' from my tack if I must get off (planned or unplanned).Marirose ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mel Cochran" <brio_gal@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, March 23, 2007 1:31 PM Subject: [RC] EZ ride strrups, deathtraps? There was someone on a BB that I frequent that was getting rid of her ez ride style stirrups. I asked why. I mean, I lusted for a pair of them for months - and I love them now that I have them, why would anyone that has some want to get rid of them? This is the response I got. I guess I never thought of them this way? =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
