I love my EZ Ride stirrups, but one hot sweaty day while riding through
a nice dusty field my mare decided to roll (and no amount of beating was
going to change her mind).  My foot got stuck in the stirrup during my
very odd dismount and I almost got my leg trapped under her.  I
understand the concern, and will be purchasing a new (and unbent) pair
with cages now!
