Re: [RC] [RC] [RC] bitless and plenty of whoa - Beth WalkerWell, now I have several new things I can try out :) The bit Don recommended looks nice, and isn't too expensive (always nice). I'm probably too chicken to use just a sidepull by itself, but I can see using it with a bit and double reins.I think my horse's next complaint is how come I can't make up my mind! It can take a bit when you want, or unclip the bit and just use the sidepull when the bit is not needed. The sidepull puts pressure on the nose like a hackamore, but not on the poll like the bitless bridle (some horses don't like it). If you don't feel the sidepull works for that horse at that time, you can clip your bit of choice onto it, and you have not wasted any money. Since it is a halter as well, only one headpiece is needed for everything. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
