RE: [RC] Firecrackers - Jim HollandHmmm...it's safer than hand grenades! Heh, Heh....I remember one New Year's Eve back when I was a stupid kid in High School a bunch of us were driving around throwing Cherry Bombs out the car windows. All was fun until the dingbat in the back seat lit one and tried hurriedly to throw it out the window....BEFORE he rolled the window down! Think "lit cigarette in your lap". :) Will never forget his nickname..."Coonie Boon". Jim, Sun of Dimanche+, and Mahada Magic. Richard T. Coyote and while I've got my slingshot pulled back, I drop the damn thing in my lap, and, well, you can guess the rest. I can just see the sheriff standing at the the scene of the crime--me, dead on the ground with parts blown off of me, my horse fifteen miles down the trail, and the dogs feeding on my remains. The sheriff asks, "All right, what happened here?" My fireworks weapon of choice is the gold standard, "Roman Candle." They are silent, and fire a flaming star in the direction of your choice every few seconds. I'm sick of confronting unleashed dogs on federal land, and it would be great to send yappy, inbred little Skippy home with his tail between his legs and a trail of smoke right behind him. Burning dog stinks, but I think I could get used to it. Then, I could turn the candle on the errant dog owner, give them my best Clint Eastwood squint and say, "Better get a leash on the mutt, sodbuster. I'm not afraid to use this thing."
