Re: [RC] vet check questions - Lauren HornDuring lunch at rides my horse almost never eats "HER" food, instead preferring someone else's. At home she eats her normal lunch quickly. At the last ride, while standing in line at the lunch vet, the person next to me had the same trouble so we switched feed pans. Each horse ate up eagerly. The next day I borrowed grain (a type I don't feed) and my horse ate it up at lunch. So from now on, I will feed her something completely different then what she is used to at home. Yeah, I know you probably shouldn't do that, but I would rather have her eat a moist, energy carb meal then just pick at the hay. I still mix it with some beet pulp but the taste must be different.Lauren =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
