I think some of the 'fault' if it is a fault, is that the photographers always pick a pretty place for the ride photos instead of the really 'good' places that they would have to walk/ride/crawl to.

I have lots of pretty photos, but boy would I 'love' to have some photos of that tricky technical spot on the trail, or hard climb or fast finish. Well, can't remember finishing fast but once, but I've seen some wonderful finishes.
