I'm with you Lynne, I usually like to take full
advantage of the 1 hr post finish before I vet my
horse.  If the finish is out of camp I will get off
and lead my horse back to camp letting them graze to
their hearts desire.  I figure they have given me 50
miles of riding and the least I can do is indulge them
a good meal before trotting out for completion.  

I've also been at large rides where it has taken over
30 minutes to vet in.  I remember the Ft Worth Skyline
ride two years ago it took us well over an hour to vet
through for completion.  They had a horse that needed
treatment and we only had one vet for about 100
horses.  What is the RM to do in this situation? DSQ
everyone in line?
