It doesn't mean it is inferior to any other ride. The great horses can win on any trail under any conditions. Rio did it, Cash did it and so did Heraldic when he won Goethe in 2006 in FL.As far as taking responsibility away from the rides - no one is advocating that to be done. What do you suggest we do with the riders that won't take the responsibility for their horse's welfare - stand back and let them kill their horse? We are either a organization that is responsible for our events and their impact on our equine partners or we are not. If we are not we don't deserve to exist IMO. Truman Cindy Collins wrote:
