[RC] Formaldehyde...?!?!! - Julie PearsallYears ago, there was a hoof hardener, later marketed as a finger nail strengthener, named Barielle. The original formula included formaldehyde. That ingredient was banned because of it's known health risks. At least in New York, where I teach high school, formaldehaye is not allowed in schools for the same reason. Lab specimens now come preserved in a rubbery preservative. Why would I want to use formaldehyde on my horse, given that it could be absorbed into her bloodstream, let alone run the risk of absorbing or ingesting any myself? I don't see the logic here. Befuddled, Julie =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
