Re: [RC] cover photo - Sisu West Ranch"...Those that have such afear of the horse should maybe grab onto another activity.
In a former life I participated in some distance riding and some organized trail rides. One day a Minnesota "Cowboy" (who undoubtedly never roped a cow, but who had the hat, bandana, chaps, spurs etc) wanted to know why I wore a helmet. I answered "If you fell off as often as I do, you'd wear one too." His jaw dropped, and he didn't say anything to me the rest of the weekend. Another time one of them gave me a hard time about my sissy tights. Later at the campfire he had on shorts and I could see that the inside of his knees looked like Hamburger. Since he was a friend, and usually a nice guy, I refrained from pointing it out. I do find it continually amusing that some who ignore obvious safety issues and equipment are the first to dis those who do use the equipment.
