Joy was called a chronic cripple by my friend and wild horse mentor until she got her foot(s) balanced within the hoof capsule. She is fabulous now- no more flairs no more stumbles no more abscesses no more mystery lameness several times a month. Google Casey LaPierre to get info on the exact style of EP she has been getting for the last 10 months now- can't wait to take the clinic myself but of course it is coming in June the same week Joy's foal is due. If I miss it she will go overdue by a week or more, if I pay to take it she will go into labor at the most interesting or critical moment of the clinic. I am checking into bringing her to the host barn and renting the foaling stall. Hey Casey check out the feet on my new baby!
