RE: [RC] Electricity 101 - Karen SnodgrassAs a long time camper, the larger "travel trailer plug" is typically called a "30 AMP" plug, because at most RV parks, that plug has a 30 AMP fuse protecting it (or is supposed to). 20 AMP plugs are the ones on your common extension cords. You can get a 30 AMP to 20 AMP conversion adapter at RV stores as well as most horse trailer dealers. -Karen in NE Ohio where the Lake Erie snow machine has been going strong -----Original Message----- From: ridecamp-owner@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:ridecamp-owner@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Sisu West Ranch Sent: Thursday, February 09, 2006 6:16 PM To: ssingle@xxxxxxx; Amy Martin Cc: ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: [RC] Electricity 101 ".... It is called a travel trailer plug. Sue..." Any RV dealer can supply an adapter. Many RV'ers find that they must have both types of plugs available so they can plug into all RV park sites.
