[RC] Angie's Book....Thank You! (Long) - andrea crisfiHi When I got the book I laughed so much...it was all TRUE! I trained and rode T.B. race horses as well as Roping horses...I never thought I would be riding a Arab. It took me a month to tell my best friend...!!!New to endurance... I stayed in my jeans until right before my first 25 (Aug.06).My friends have somewhat gotten over the Arab thing (he's a cool Arab) but I haven't been able to wear the tights with my non-endurance friends. I recently got married to a non-horsey man...but he is great!! He really tries. So I asked him to read the book.. he did! Well I now have a Trailer with a small LQ,barn,and Tights! And the most important thing is that he now knows I am not the only one with this disease. He now understands my need to get up at 4AM on my days off, ride for hours in the Florida heat,the blacksmith bills,neglect of household chores,OH and lets not forget why I have gone though 5 saddles!
