Re: [RC] cordless impact/lug wrench for travel? - Tx Trigger----- Original Message ----- From: "Don Huston">>> Something to remember is most 3horse and bigger trailers have brakes on both axels so you could have someone activate the trailer brakes by hand with the slider or tape it on max and that might hold the wheel. US RIDER sounds pretty good too.<<< But Don, that would require I have someone along with me if I had a flat! <grin> Most of my trips are just me and the horses. And it seems that I usually have at least one trailer flat on my trips between TX and CA each year. I do have US Rider, but I can usually get the tire changed and be back on the road in about 15-20 min. if the tire is not spinning because it shredded. LOL Oh, and I already have a bunch of DeWalt 18v tools, that take the same battery. That is why I had looked at this. I LOVE the DeWalt tools! Have one 12v drill that is about 15 years old, and still going on its original batteries. Always have it in the truck. Never know when one might need to drill a hole! <grin> Jonni =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
