I think Millwalke makes a 12volt model that clips onto the truck battery so you would not have to worry about charging batteries. Something to remember is most 3horse and bigger trailers have brakes on both axels so you could have someone activate the trailer brakes by hand with the slider or tape it on max and that might hold the wheel.
