[RC] Am I damaging my Batteries? - Lucie HessI've been following the battery discussion for quite awhile, and with much interest. Maybe I'm dense.. (probably not maybe!.. when it comes to this kind of issue).. anyway.. I think I may be "overcharging my batteries". Here's my common practice, I have a LQ trailer with all the usual amenities. I leave my trailer plugged in to a regular outlet when I'm not going to a ride. I also keep my battery switch in the on position, which means my batteries are getting charged. (Just in case the electric goes out/ cord gets unplugged, etc. However, I keep my fridge running on auto, which means it flips to propane if the electric goes out. I also run a LP detector.. my propane doesn't work without it running, some kind of safety device. So my question is.. am I running enough electrical devices to not overcharge and/or "fry" my batteries? I think other folks may want to know about this, so perhaps on line answers may be appreciated by the others on this group. Thanks..
