I can't help you with a helmet source, but did you check the shipping label? 
Small vendors with a small inventory often have items drop shipped.  I 
really try not to do that, because about half the time the customer gets the 
wrong thing and it's a PITA for everybody. If it was shipped from the 
manufacturer that will at least give you another target for your 
frustration! Good Luck.
