Re: [RC] fence question - Sisu West RanchThere have been stories about horses cut by electrobraid. You may consider Horseguard Fence: http://www.horseguardfence.com/It is a tape that is much more sturdy than the usual products. It comes in either Green or Brown which are much less visible to humans, but horses seem to see fine. They claim, and I can attest from experience, that horses are less likely to try to run through even when paniced. I think their primitive minds see thin stuff as a twig they can break. They also have standoff insulators for existing fence, or perhaps some trees. The tension required is low, and the insulators sturdy I don't think minor misalignment of trees will be a problem. It seems to last quite awhile. The downside is the price, and you have to order it. The good news is I have always gotten my orders really quick.
