I never have to worry about the pump on the well going down and the horses not getting water. So, I can see where these things are equally as important when on a ride for a few days. I didn't think much about the type, noise level, or anything else until this thread! Gives one food for thought to be a kind neighbor while camping at an endurance competition. D'Arcy We didn't even own a generator till 2004 when we thought it would be nice to have one that would at least keep the food in our house frig from spoiling when the hurricanes roared through and we were without power for 8 days.
