FW: [RC] Trailer loading - Curtis, Laura \(LauraCurtis\)

I, too, am with Kat on this--I taught my horse so I could just throw the
lead rope over his back and he'd hop in by himself. I had a two horse
extra tall, extra wide, bumper pull, so my Arab had plenty of room--I
think this helps the claustrophobic aspect. Even though I had an escape
door on my trailer, I do not think it's safe to lead a horse in.

Actually, you should be able to do both....but you TEACH it exactly as
Kat
describes it and that is the preferred method. With some small trailers,
there is simply no room to lead them on.
