My
brothers & I used to catch a horse that we didn’t even know, it was
boarded near a family friend’s place, make an “Indian bridle”,
jump on bareback & let the horse run all over the pasture. I guess it might
have been broke, but we didn’t know how to ride and we’d just get
off when it stopped. I was too young & dumb to even know we shouldn’t
have been doing that!

going down the road for a ride.When I got back I was told she wasn't =
