RE: [RC] [RC] re: endurance riders aloof? I don't think so - D'Arcy Demianoff-ThompsonThere it is! A voice of reason full of GREAT information. Thank you, Rae, for such enlightening information. I don't wear a hearing aid but find myself so deep in thought and paying attention to every move my horse is making that I don't pay attention to other riders when I have been out on a trail. I do know that the wind in the hearing aid is a very difficult situation. My ranch sitter wears hearing aids and he does have difficulty hearing me when the wind is blowing. Quite often he turns them down so as not to be bothered with the 'noise' in his ears. Yeah, probably a lot of that noise is my voice! LOL! Seriously, though, I do appreciate this information, from you, Rae, as a rider. It will definitely be something I am mindful of when on a ride. ____________________________________________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
