Now let's say that these were 3 100 mile rides spaced 3 days apart, then you _really_ don't want to trash your horse, or you're not going to be in any shape to start the next ride...." I may be totally wrong, but I have a vision of say 6 countries with their whole team qualified for the final race being essentially tied with total time and having gone quite slowly. The last day they all let everything hang out and the result is essentially what we have now.. Please note: I am just putting this possibility up for consideration. I have a vision of nearly all of the horses treated the first day being DQ'd at vet in for the 2nd day, and the first day front runners dropping like flies, and careful riders riding sane rides on seasoned horses continuing to shine and winning. You could treat it like a pioneer ride, and take the time as the total for all 3 rides. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
