Forward to 'spoof@paypal.com' Re: [RC] - Elizabeth ChaseGood morning, Under no circumstances click any link in amy of those kinds of email.... forward to 'spoof@xxxxxxxxxx'..... PayPal will send you an automatic 'thank you', and later will confirm or deny authenticity of the email. If you have something fishy from ebay, the address is spoof@xxxxxxxx Things like the crap from so-called official legal representatives of estates or companies wanting your 'assistance' can be forwarded to 'spam@xxxxxxx' ..... MSN users can forward spam/phishing to 'abuse@xxxxxxx' Most of them contain little 'bots' --- macros that are designed to hunt for your delicate personal information. Also, obtain a GOOD anti-spyware program and run it daily if need be, or at least weekly. The cumulative effect of these little visitors slows down your computer, and some actively effect malformation changes to your operating system. I have never bought anything from PayPal. If you click on 'Cancel Transaction', it askes for your PayPal password or wants you to create one, which includes your e-mail address. I am deleting the e-mail and reporting it as spam. The "TO" in the e-mail came from Ridecamp. Did anyone else receive such an e-mail? ____________________________________________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Everyone is raving about the all-new Yahoo!
