[RC] shoes no shoes - mrsdAfter a couple of years of triming & or shoeing our horsesI have come to the following conclusion: My old horse seems to enjoy having shoes on the left side and not on the right. He was having lameness problems on the right side until the shoes fell off and he seemed to regain his soundness. I firmly believe that there is too much emphasis on regular trims. Just let them grow until it breaks off. I keep trying to do the job at the age of 76===have tried one easy boot but lost it after about twenty minutes. Can't seem to afford another. How much does it cost to have real shoes put on.. One guy wanted $100 and said he could do it in twenty minutes. Does that sound correct. Dick Dawson Does anyone have any used easy boots? =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
