Hi Carla, know what work great fot the trailer door latches (extending
"arms") ...Pool Noodles.

Cut a pool noodle (you get to pick pretty colors) to lenght you need,
cut a slit in the noodle hole, insert the noodle over the latch
handle.  I use purple ones. >;] Raven
