[RC] Scoliosis - Tara M Sheppard

I too have a "mild" case of Scoliosis. I was told at a young age to not
ride horses anymore. So, I quit going to the chiro!
And yes, I still ride. I now am in my early 30's and it is really
bothering me bad. I too sit to one side (the left). Thought it was the
saddle at first, then the horse. Finally realized it was me. One leg is
longer than the other and I have a horrible time trying to post
to the trot. If I even gain 5 pounds, It is torture. I now need to lose
at least 15 pounds and my back and knees especially, KILL
me. I have headaches on a regular basis due to the Scoliosis.
I don't have medical at this time so cannot afford to go see the chiro.
Am going to start losing weight as of today. Exercise really
does help. Keep the back strong and limber. As well as keeping the weight
off does wonders.
Definitely have the child go see a chiro on a regular basis. Don't
decide for him/her or they WILL pay for it later-
