[RC] Comstock 50 - mrsdWe had a good ride...Also was lucky to meet a very experienced rider by the name of Colton Medeiros. We had started late which was very nice when after about 4 or 5 miles heard some voices coming up behind us and soon were able to meet Colton and his dad Matt. Matt's mule was a little lame, so we ended up with Colton who turned seven in August. What a neat, well spoken, polite, and competent endurance rider. His 18 year old arab gelding was a superb horse. Well behaved, trained, sane and good mover. I was amazed by Colton's contnuous remarks about the trail and his knowledge of riding. His posting trot was superb to observe. We had a good ride up to the lunch stop but Colton's horse had a problem and we had to ride on alone. We really missed him. It's amazing how that young man helped this old man celebrate his 76'th. birthday......and complete the fifty with his dear wife of 49 years.
