RE: [RC] Good Advice/Liberal Arts - David LeBlanc

I'm not sure where liberal arts would be an advantage. I don't think I learned much in that area that helps me here, though I do have a silly number of degrees in engineering (350 quarter hours of class credit). Except for helping me _pay_ for all this, not much of it has come in handy, and two of the smartest endurance riders I know don't have any college, so...

I wonder how many Ride Camp / Endurance Riders have a Liberal Arts background.  It would make sense that there are more than we would think there would be.  It takes a well rounded human being to do what needs to be done for the care and well being of our horses to preserve and protect them.  Further more how else would all of you have the guts to want to ride 100 miles a day?  LOL!
