One of the ranches that we use for our rides has some beautiful topiary
figures on the front lawn that we have to ride by when we park at their barn
..... a friend's mule took one look at them and bolted the heck out of
there. That mule just couldn't figure out what those "critters"
were. It was pretty funny and, I have to admit, I had a smug moment as my
"baby" arab calmly walked by <g>.
Sylvia (maybe mules have a better eye for detail and just knew that a bush
shouldn't be shaped like a deer??)
