RE: [RC] Club foot - heidiMy vet tells me that the club foot diagnosis isn't made from the outward appearance of the hoof, but rather the bony alignment of the foot and pastern on x-ray. As you can probably tell from my other posts on the subject, the "labeling" of high-low horses as "club footed" is a pet peeve of mine--and it is one that has no clinical justification whatsoever unless one can demonstrate the bony changes radiographically.
