i didn't realize that i can participate in the ctr with the bares on
participating in 'distance only'.  what exactly does 'distance only'
mean? that you get mileage credit?

the area i live in has several ctr rides throughout the year.
unfortunately i can only participate in some of them without the hoof
boots.  i was sorry to have to give up the other rides, especially
since i have some friends who participate in them.  but it sounds like
we may be able to ride in them afterall.

i do hope NACTR expands the rules so that hoof boots of all types are allowed.
