The exact words I was searching for to answer a previous post on the subject. If anti-inflammatories and pain-killers are banned from riders' use, this whole sport would collapse. And to what purpose, I cannot imagine.

I just don't see how pain killers would be considered performance enhancing. I think of them as performance enabling.
