RE: [RC] [RC] Pain killers - Mel CochranIf my husband prescribed to the theory of "pain being nature's way of telling you to stop doing something", he would be at home and out of work.He is 34 years old and has a type of arthritis that flares up on occasion. It effects most of his body but his knees, hands and back get hit the hardest. When this stuff flares up, it usually lasts for 6-8 weeks. He tries to control it with his Dr. prescribed 800 mg of Ibuprofin 3x a day. He has to take some sort of pain killer just to function. He has a plumbing company and needs to be able to use his hands, knees and back on a daily basis. I just don't see how pain killers would be considered performance enhancing. I think of them as performance enabling. Mel _________________________________________________________________ Express yourself instantly with MSN Messenger!
