No, Martha, age is the determining factor. But go for it anyway, you have nothing to loose!!! I did my first 50 at 52 & attempted my first 100 (Tevis, this year) at 66. Endurance is the "sport for a lifetime." Doesn't matter when you start and there are even awards for older riders.
