If caps are considered shouting, what is used to emphasize? Please educate me. Barbara As standard ASCII e-mail does not have boldface and italics as options, we have to use other means. Putting a word inside *asterisks* is one substitution for italics. Making a word or phrase ALL-CAPS is one substitution for boldface. I believe it is only "shouting" and poor ettiquette if it is done to excess, such as whole paragraphs in uppercase. -- Joe Long jlong@xxxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.chiprider.com =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
