I've only done a 50 there, but if your horses aren't used to flat, it won't be easy, if they aren't used to sand, it won't be easy and if you're not used to 15 degrees when you wake up and have it be 80 degrees by noon, it may not be easy for you!!  The one year I was there, I had ice crystals on the inside of my tent, and was shedding clothes by noon.  There were lots of sore hindquarters if I recall correctly, it's been a few years though.
