Re: [RC] [RC] Oregon 100 - AHA National Championship - Jeremy Olson

No one has said this as of yet. It is still 100 miles on horseback and no 100 mile ride is easy. You still have to pace your horse, make sure they are in condition, keep yourself and your horse focused for 12 plus hours (including checks), and everything else that can happen over a 100 mile course. Sure some are easier than others, but it is still a 100 miles ride and you had better be prepared for a variety of things.

We noticed that at Dust Devils last year. Our horses do a lot of climbing
and rarely see flat ground. Thery actually tired toward the end because they
were covering unfamiliar terrain.
