Gee whiz.  All this talk about multiple height divisions for basketball and 
 weight divisions for horse racing is silly.  You might as well suggest 
that Major League Baseball teams, after playing over 160 regular season 
games to determine which is the best team in the National and American 
Leagues, should participate in a play-off series, that includes a third of 
all the teams, to decide who goes to the World Series, instead of just 
taking the best team in each league.
