[RC] Challenge of Champions - Steph TeeterJust to let you guys know - we're reviving the ROC thing next year - actually it will be The COC - Challenge of Champions. More specifically the Arabian Nights Challenge of Champions. A big deal 100 mile ride. Bev Gray (she did marketing and promotion for the ROC's with Susan Gibson)and I started on this concept early this year, and have the date and venue finalized - it will be August 22 - 25, in Oreana, Idaho. A 100 mile even - ride the mountains in the morning, rest in camp in the afternoon, and finish the challenge on desert trails under the full moon. Also - this will be the AERC USA/Canada National Championship - 55 and 100 mile divisions. It's going to well promoted, lots of hoopla, and a big deal! We'll send a short flyer out for the moment - and will have a real website finished next week. Start planning now!
