Other folk go to the game park to look for the Big Five, I find the herd dynamic in the smaller species far more interesting. I live in California, but one place I've ridden a couple times has a wild zebra herd. They used to belong to WR Hearst, now they're completely on their own. They're absolutely amazing to watch as they all streak accross the fields. They get wound-up by the horses when we ride by, often circling us around & around a few times before getting bored of us and moving on. But really, there's nothing quite so breathtaking.
