[RC] Helmets and Wives - Bruce WearyI finally got Dayna to wear a helmet, but not through the methods recently suggested here on RC:1) Tell her she can't ride. Right. I have grown accustomed to all of my anatomy, exactly where it's located. Rearrangement by a testy, 5'2" Oklahoma-bred spouse is a place I don't want to go. 2) Increase her life insurance. Wouldn't help. She's told me many times that if she dies first, she's taking it all with her. I'm too scared to argue with her. 3) Withhold sex. Tried it. Bought her boyfriend a bus ticket to Seattle. He found his way back. She cracked her head in a fall recently, and realized if she didn't start wearing a helmet, she might not be around to collect MY life insurance. God, I love her.
