[RC] Salmonella - Bruce Weary

Salmonella is an anaerobic organism that infects the horse usually through the fecal-oral route. (Icky!) The source can be other horses, birds, rodents, etc.,. Once infected, the horse's gut is a good place for them to reproduce, and the horse will shed more salmonella in his manure, possibly propagating the situation. He needs treatment and a thorough cleaning of surfaces and items in his environment. Dr Q, who is good friends with Sam and Ella.
