I ride a 14.3 horse. My daughter's Arab is 16 hands and another training partner's is 16.1.
My feet hit an occasional stump, but they have to watch for low hanging limbs. Hunter is the best walking horse I've ever ridden, but he's a TWH so I'm not sure he gets extra credit. Ther second best was a 14.2 quarter horse.
