I have been trying to find a lock for my trailer hitch and have had 
no luck. 
  The ones I have found are made for the lighter trailer hitches, 


I put one of those little key opening hitch locks for the smaller trailer
hitches on a borrowed hay trailer that I had to park down on the road
(100 yards from the house) . Had a heart attach next day when I came home
and the trailer was gone. Turned out the cousin I'd borrowed it from had
come back early, gave the lock a whack and it broke off. I felt really
bad because the lock belonged to a boarder but she told me he did her a
favor. If it was that easy to knock off she didn't want to count on it
helping.

Angie (who protects her trailers by putting easily identifiable dents all
over them, and parking them in a maze of implements at the top of a 4x4
hill with very limited turn around.

My neighbor had someone drive up, hitch up to her trailer and drive 

off.

Could have been mine just as easily.   So lock your hitch.    Julie
